NYC Salon #49: Designing the Future of Work

May 30, 2017 @ 8:00 pm - 10:00 pm

Careers have been changing and continue to change. Whether it’s the sharing economy, startups, automation, what jobs are available are constantly in flux. It’s difficult to prepare for next steps when you don’t know what the future holds. Enter design thinking. Design thinking is an iterative design practice that has been used in industrial design for many years. It is now being combined with cognitive psychology to give practical, intentional paths to career-building.

Join Nate Cooper for a presentation on the psychology behind design practices and how those design thinking techniques can help you get unstuck in your career.
